🌿 Day 2 – Ride Along the Giffre Valley: Nature and Heritage

Today’s ride takes you to Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval, one of France’s most beautiful villages.
You’ll follow the Giffre River, cross wooden bridges, and admire Cascade du Rouget, the region’s iconic waterfall.
Enjoy light trots through lush pastures before camping overnight at Le Pelly, surrounded by alpine peaks.


🏞️ Day 4 – Golèse Pass: Ride Above the Clouds: Breakfast, Lunch.

Set off early along the GR5 trail toward Golèse Pass (1 784 m).
Ride through blooming meadows and pine forests, stopping for lunch at Sebastian Baud Guesthouse.
Afterwards, ascend to your mountain lodge and enjoy dinner with sweeping alpine views.

Day 5 (Thursday) 4th Riding Day: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Ability description: Strong novice and above, able to rise to the trot and canter. The riding is not particularly challenging although there are opportunities to trot and canter. It is more important to be fit and in good health for riding at altitude.
